Academic Excellence at St. Thomas Academy

A rigorous curriculum rooted in faith, preparing students for success and purpose.

Our Academic Foundation

At St. Thomas Academy, academic excellence begins with clarity of purpose. Our curriculum is rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, emphasizing disciplined thinking, mastery of fundamentals, and a deep love of learning.

We believe students rise to high expectations when they are supported by structure, virtue, and teachers who know them well.

Early Childhood (Preschool-K)

In preschool and kindergarten, students begin building early reading, writing, and math skills through hands-on learning and guided play. Teachers help children develop habits of attention, kindness, and joyful curiosity as they grow comfortable in the classroom.

Elementary (1-5)

Students in grades 1–5 strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills while growing in curiosity and confidence. Teachers provide clear instruction and consistent expectations that help students develop strong learning habits and a love of learning.

Middle School (6-8)

Middle school students build on their academic skills through challenging math, literature, writing, and history. Along the way, they develop the responsibility, discipline, and independence needed for high school.
